marlin44,
Thanks for the pictures, and congratulations on the new Commander. I'm looking forward to hearing how pleased you are with the Colt's performance on your range. :)

Congratulations on the new addition... must be nice to have a "range" out the back door! How convenient!

Hi
That definitely is a nice thing. I've never had a house where I could shoot out the back door. I have visited a couple people who had that luxury and it's been fun.
As long as you have a safe backstop blast away ...

Its nice to have property to shoot on. I do belong to a local gun club, it does seem wierd to pack up my guns to go "shoot" them.

I, too, am fortunate enough to live on enough country acreage to have my own range (yes, Bob, with Big backstops :)). I use to utilize gun ranges exclusively, but have not been to one in the last couple of years.
By the way, marlin44, how about that range report?? ;)

Hi
If you are having trouble hitting the barn try standing *inside* while shooting . :D
