In my dealings with my wife I have never gotten in trouble with her as long as I involved her in the process. The one time I was sneaky Lets just say that it was mighty cold on the couch....And heck I have 42 Colt's and she OK's all of them except one..... :(

HMMMMM!! Heres what you do, go and find the biggest refridgerator box you can get ,put it in the back yard,grab your sleeping bag,the dogs bowl,and some extra socks. A lttle story about how the wife doesn't know how many ___ I have.
A friend and I were at the Austin Gun Show, about 10 years ago. He loved shotguns. He found one he really liked and it was a very good buy, but didn't have enough cash to purchase it. I offered to lend him what he needed to get it, if he wanted to. He said "I ought to get it, my wife doesn't know how many shotguns I have". Well he didn't buy it. Later that day, we went out to eat and his wife met us, and asked what we had bought at the Gun SHow. I told her what I had bought, and then she asked her husband if he had bought anything. He told her of the shotgun he had looked at and that it was a good buy, and she said "you should have bought it, but you already have 5 shotguns". At that point I said
"What was that about she doesn't know how many shotguns I have". We all had a good laugh. :)
