Decided to smooth out my McCormick trigger since the edges are somewhat sharp and the serrations in the front doesn't lend to a good finger feel for me. Used a dremel at low speed to sanded down the serrations and edges slightly, and then 400 and 600 grit sandpaper for a final smooth, glassy finish. Took about 45 minutes taking my time. The feel of the trigger has really been enhanced, even just testing it dry firing, plus it looks pretty classy and clean. Keep in mind this doesn't change the trigger pull at all, only the trigger feel as I am not messing with the internals.
Do this at your own risk though. If you are not competent or very handy, I can enlist my service. I will remove only as much material (on your current trigger or one you'd like to send me) as necessary to give it a beautiful satin-mirror finish. E-mail if you'd like more info, price or just discuss. Thanks. -Don don@healthbydon.com
