colt's in cincinnati

I am having a problem finding any dealer that carries colt's in cincinnati, OH or anywhere within reason. I do not want to order because i want to see more in my hand before buying. Anyone got a good place ?

What about gunshows? Do yall have regular gunshows where you might go any see one. I understand wanting to hold something in your hand before shelling out money. When I have been looking for a Colt I have gone to yahoo and typed in local gunstores in my area then get on the phone. You would be surprised the number of shops you can find local through the internet that ain't in the phone book. That method has paid off for me a few times.

I picked-up a new stainless Series 70 at Targetworld yesterday. They also had a new bright stainless Super .38 in the case. One Shot in Newtown is a nice small shop that will normally have a Colt or two in stock. Loveland shooters supply is also worth a look. The shop on Route 42 in Sharonville (the name escapes me), always has several older Colts on hand.

Sorry to be so late to the party, Najord. For Colts in the Cincinnati area I'd try the following shops:

1) Old Milford Guns, Milford
2) Gary's Guns, Fairfield
3) Targetworld, Sharonville
4) Costello's, North College Hill
5) Peterson's Guns*, Sharonville

*Not only are his prices high, but IMO you should try to visit when the owner is not present, if you get my drift.

If you've tried those places without success, you'd be very hit-and-miss on new Colts in our area. The folks at Loveland Shooters Supply have good prices, but don't normally stock Colts.

If you are trying to stay in Ohio, a road trip to Vance's in the Columbus area might yield results.

Hunter, we have halfway decent to lousy gun shows in our region. The PRO events held near Wilmington and Columbus seem better than the Goodman shows in Sharonville and Dayton. But none of them is exactly well stocked with "Hartford Horseys".
