I have a springer loaded model. I want to replace the stock 3 dot sights. I plan on buying the SA adjustable rear sight using my coupon. I want to get a dawson fiber optic for the front. Does the width of the front sight make any difference?

No, but it does help if you're trying pick up the front sight in a hurry.

You want to be able to see light on either side of the front sight when viewing it thru the rear sight notch.
