Should There Be Locktite On Grip Screw Bushings

My grip bushings come loose after shooting about 300 rounds.
This is the 2nd time this has happened.
Can I use blue Locktite on the bushings, and does it work?
Please let me know.

Hi

There are a number of "colors" of Loctite. If you are having trouble you might think about going up to some of the tough stuff - Red. Normally the blue stuff should be adequate.

Make sure you completely degrease and de-oil the bushing thread and the threads in the frame or the loctite won't "lock very tight." Alcohol or brake cleaner works good.
