What is your favorite inexpensive practice ammo?
I get Winchester White box .45's for about $22/100 at walmart, but it is SO dirty.
What would you recommend for cheap, clean practice ammo?

The WWB at Walmart is my favorite "purchased" ammunition in 45 ACP. The price ($19.99/100 here in Phoenix) is hard to beat and I get good quality leftover brass.
But if you're gonna (or wanna) practice a lot, seriously consider reloading and using lead bullets. Your cost per round will be less than half.
Of course, that is ignoring the one-time expenditure for equipment (I'm all Dillon) and your time (depending on the machine, 100-400 rounds per hour plus setup and cleanup time).
Until then, stick with Walmart -- the price is very hard to beat. (And collect your spent brass toward the day you start reloading.)

I use the WWB from Walmart also. Believe me, its not the dirtiest stuff you could use. I have also used Remington UMC, Federal American Eagle and even some Wolf ammo. Now, you want some dirty ammo? Try Wolf. It works pretty good but you better buy some extra Hoppes.

I use Federal American Eagle. It shoots well, it's too dirty and the brass is great for reloading.

PMC is another brand, cleaner than WWB and the casings seem to reload fine.

I like Federal American Eagle and CCI Lawman. I have never had problems with either, and they are still somewhat affordable. I also have some reloaded FMJ from Precision Delta, and I like that too.

Hi
For practice ammo the cost of purchased stuff is just to high.
Reloading with plated bullets and your choice of powder (more $ = cleaner) is both cheaper and less messy. Cast lead is cheaper still, but a little more messy than plated due to the lube.
