My New Little Girl

I thought this would be the place to make this announcement. On Thursday August 24, 2006 @ 2:44 PM my wife, our Family and I, welcomed our brand new Baby Girl, Lauren Faith, into this world. I can say one thing about this experience. Nothing in this world tops seeing you child being born, NOTHING!!!!
Before you start sending me the messages about pictures I will post them soon we have plenty. I will get the birth announcements with her picture on it in about a week or two and I will try to post one for you ALL. And just to let you all know,

SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
AND SHE HAS DADDY WRAPPED AROUND HER LITTLE FINGER, TOO.

And I will try to post some pictures of her maybe tomorrow. I just hope and pray I am as good a dad as mine is but, I doubt it he's just too good at it and he is tickled pink with her. So is my mom. I actually have two daughters but, the first is now 13 and I have only had her for 5 years but, that don't matter to me she's mine, too. Her name is Brittany and she too has daddy wrapped around her little finger. I love all 3 of my girls, my daughters and my wife they are the best thing in my life.

First grandchild is on the way. These pictures make me excited about our new arrival. Do not know if I am "up" for this granddad thing. Didn't have much of a choice, did I? Hope I can spent more time with the grandchild than I got to spend with the son. Nimrod, the guys are right - spent as much time with her as possible. Time gets away so quickly, and before you know it, she is grown up and gone. What a pretty little package. You were staying up at nights anyway, huh?

The scariest thing in the world is becoming a father for the first time. Becoming a papaw is a close second. But after you get over the "man I'm old" feeling, it's actually kind of fun. You get to relive your childhood again through them.
