Colt factory parts for my Colts but I do use Wolff springs as well. If you plan to shoot reduced target loads in your GCNM you can use 12 pound recoil springs (for real reduced loads) and for standard pressure 16 pound.

Thanks ive been shootin lighter loads 4.3 bullseye 230 lrn in my (im sorry hunter but I gotta say it ) kimber. Ill give the lighter springs a try. Im gonna see if I can get a hold of colt a tell em what I got and get the parts thru them. Do you get all your parts thru them? I.E. extracors ,firing pins, sear ,mainsprings etc. And how is the availabilty of that stuff?

brownells is a good place to get original colt parts they have most stuff in stock
For a extractor i prefer a cylinder and slide spring steel extractor just like JMB designed and used in the 1911's
rest i use is colt parts
