I just realized that I have used a couple of the advertising links on the site to order, in the most recent case, a pair of grips, and there was no place on the order to tell the vendor where I came by the site. Is there some way we can routinely tell a vendor that he got the order because of a link at M1911.org?

In every instance that I have purchased something from one of the vendors on this site, I've either e-mailed them with my impressions, or phoned them, or both. Andy Arratoonian of "Horseshoe Leather" and I have corresponded by e-mail several times. His holsters are nothing short of Outstanding!
Conrad Berry, of "GunGrips.net", produces some of the finest 1911 grips you'll ever use. He is a gentleman, and it is a pleasure to speak with him on the phone. The same exact thing can be said of Craig and Audrey Chadwick, of "Lightning Arms Sports", except that Audrey is every bit the definition of a lady.

If a vendor does not provide a specific place to identify where you got the idea to purchase one of their products, I have yet to find one that didn't provide a way for you to e-mail or phone them. I know that everyone that I have dealt with is pleased to hear that they were first noticed at M1911.ORG

Most companies email you a confirmation after they receive your online order. You could just email them back, reference the order/confirmation number and tell them the order was a result of M1911.ORG.

Please, always tell the vendors where you saw their banner. It helps them understand that their money are well-spend and that M1911.ORG advertising does sell. Thanks!
