which one to buy?

I'm going to be buying my first 1911. I'm looking at Les Baer Prowler III, Ed Brown Special Forces, and Nighthawk GRP. I would like to know from you is the +/- of each gun and company. Please explain why choose one over the others.

That's a big step on a first pistol.

Often it's the small features that make a difference. It's a lot easier to decide on some of these things after playing with one for a while.

if looking in that price range... take a look at the Wilson Combat CQB

was comparing the GRP and the CQB... think I like the CQB a little more (my .02 YMMV)
