I have run about 200 rds through the new firestorm, as stated before I had a few FTF. Now in about 1 in every 30 rds I get it again, but all I have to do is push on the back of the slide a little bit and then it chambers the round. Any suggestions on what could cause this, im not familiar with the 1911 style yet and I know this is just a clone but it still functions the same way. I heard that most FTF occur from the magazine, does anyone polish the feed lips also. thanks rick

Polishing the feed lips may not cure the problem. Normally, the 1911 mag releases a round at approx the 50% point of travel. Check that. Use your thumb and see if your mag releases at the halfway point. If too early, then bend the lips (carefully so you do not crack the mag).
