I've read alot of your statements on here and my dad left me a remington rand 1911a1 45 cal. it has the FJA stamp the 2 "P" stamped and also a "H" an d "M" stamped by the trigger guard. The gun is stainless and i haven't seen any or heard anyone speak about the stainless 1911a1. I'm not real familiar about this gun but i" very interested. Any help would greatly be appreciated

Remington Rand never made any stainless 1911s. In fact, no military 1911s were ever made in stainless, and the earliest civilian/commecial stainless steel models didn't come out until several decades after the last military pistol rolled off the line. Your pistol isn't stainless steel, but may be either nickel or chrome plated. Either way, the refinishing has destroyed any collector's value it had, so keep it for the memory of your father.

According to Mr. Clawson, that would be a 1945 pistol. It's actually toward the end of the total production, which was ended before the total contract had been fulfilled because they ran out of war. So ... probably mid-year 1945.
Can you post pictures of it?
