Can anyone tell me where I can buy a long trigger and a long hammer for a 1918 Colt 1911?

Aside from auction sites and gun shows, you might try posting a want ad. You might also want to try Bill Ricca, www.billricca.com occassionally he has some restoration parts of that vintage.

Jerry, I have seen some on ebay. Wish I would have known, I sold a complete set of parts for a 1911 Colt that was made in 1918 on Ebay last Month. I still have the frame. Someone wanted it, but didn't want to go through a dealer. I would keep on looking on ebay, you may find what you need on there.
