I enjoy this forum for its continuing flow of information about products with which I have little or no experience, as well as the detailed support and discussion for and about the pieces I love. I have even learned what to look for in different models of pistols so I can be "intelligent" about my next purchases.
Thanks to all who make this site GO and who are patient with the ones of us who are not so bright.

I might add that this is a well run forum. It always stays on target without alot of useless things going on that don't pertain to the 1911. I also like the fact that you monitor language so we all have to behave politely.

I wish some other members shared your opinion!
No, seriously, we try to maintain this site as a friendly environment, where even minors or noble Englishman (and women) will feel at home. This was one of the targets we have set, when this board was started and it will remain like that, for as long as I am responsible for it. I hate foul language!

LoRL, thanks for the nice words friends.
And relax, I do not plan to stop down that soon. I still have several ideas on what this Organization should be about, and with God's help, you will see them happening.

I was "misdirected" to this site when i was doing online research on my Ballester, I was mad at first but then I started to check out the site and found that even though it is a 1911 site, John found it to be ok to give the 1911 cousins some love to!!! for that i am grateful... One day I will buy a real 1911, just for now I am really happy with my old girl... so to everyone that makes this site a success I say Thanks!!!! And I am quite glad I decided to stay!!!! :)
