Is this an early Colt Barrel?????

This barrel has no markings what so ever. It has a lot of metal under the link and a barrel tapper with no ridge. The hood has been polished.
Is it possible this is an unmarked Colt barrel in the 1-500 serial number range?

The finish does not appear to be the type used during that time period and looks to be a matte or parkerized finish (from the pics) of recent mfg. Roto Mfg. produced a similar looking barrel that was unmarked with a polished chamber hood like your example.
