Colt Serial Numbers

Howdy all...

I was looking on the summation of the Colt serial numbers but I didnt see the serial number like I have on my Colt...

I am trying to track down some info on the gun...

it is a colt combat commander..the serial number is 70SC57XXX


any info would be great

I called colt at 1 800 962 2658 and got information on date of mfg. Perhaps they can answer your question.

No they were open today spoke to Kathy about 1500. The customer service department is close from 1200-1300 for dinner. I believe they closed at 1700 and reopen at 0900. You can also try proofhouse for older Colts http://proofhouse.com/index.htm
