Nice pistols. I am particularly partial to Pythons, and that one is nice.

No other revolver is quite what a Python is. They have a special aura or feel to them.
I wish they were still produced.

I have 2 and will have at least 2 more before i am through. I like Diamondbacks also, probably buy 2 or 3 of them. 1911's I'm still trying to figure out what the number will be, but 5 or 6 Colts might be about right? As long as I steer clear of Hunter. If I don't, maybe 25 or 26 might be about right.

Very nice Colts, and I agree about the Python. I have a Python stubby (2.5 inch barrel) that's a real joy to shoot. I also have a nice Diamondback stubby (2.5 inch barrel) in .38 Special that's a very nice shooter (won it at a Friends of the NRA raffle).

I had wanted a Python for years and finally ordered an Elite with a 6 inch barrel about a year ago. I never suspected when I ordered it that it would be the last year Colt would make them. Sadness. It is put together like a Swiss watch. I wonder if they knew and wanted to make the last ones very good.

I tried to order one earlier this year and they said no. I was quite disappointed. :mad: You can only hope they will make them again someday.

Nice OM. I just bought one exactly like it - supposed to be here on Monday and should match my enhanced GCNM.

Very nice Python, too. I didn't realize that Colt had discontinued them. I'll have to start hanging out on the websites looking for one that's used, NIB.
