I have traded guns for along time, and the only gun I ever regreted getting rid of was my original colt officers Ser#39 for 20 years I have wished I had that one back, well today I won an auction for an original Officers with box and paperwork, and the best is it was a fair price. I will post pictures as soon as I recieve it.

Now all I have to do is find the money :o

Way to go, Jim...
I had an Officer's about 20 years ago that I sold because it wasn't quite reliable. Knowing what I know now I wish I had it back.

:D I guess I sould clarify, Yes the money's there, but I wasn't really planning on a new purchase just yet, as I am still trying to finish out my Caspian/Colt Officers project. So I guess that is now on hold again for another month:-)

A small price to pay. I have a Colt M1991A1 Compact (which is the same as an Officers) and it's one of my favorite pistols. Plus it's (so far, anyway) 100% reliable. What more could I ask?

Never sell a Colt. :nono: You will just regret it later. I've got a Trooper MK lll that I've had for over 25 years. Got it for $200 from my brother with holster and speed loaders.
Scooter, in your profile, it says you are toothless and retired, I guess that is not your picture there with all the teeth, laughing! Don't look old nuf to be a retired LEO.

You be a real roughneck! Regular Policemen get a papercut and bleed to death. Crooks get shot several times and they're OK. Flatfoot twists his ankle and I got another funeral to go to.
