How could I have missed the patches, I need to get some ordered if there are any left.
It is what I get for being off line for so long
There are plenty left, hopefully, we'll never run out of them from now on.

Hey John;
Can we send a Money order for the patches???
John
27th July 2006, 00:11
I believe you can. However, being totally ignorant of the US payment methods, I will have to ask Hawkmoon to jump in here and let us know.

Yes, a couple of people have sent money orders. I've been told that the bank even prefers them, because they don't have to wait several days for them to clear the way they do for out-of-state checks.

Not at the moment. But stay tuned ... we're discussing with Sikorsky and Bell/Textron the possibility of offering black helicopters with the M1911.org logo on the doors ... :D

(number of patches x 5$) + 3$ for S&H in the US and Canada. Add 5% to the total for the paypal commission.

All these are high-quality embroydered items, not cheaply stamped ones. Excellent quality for the original product and the embroydering work.
We also have grips ...

Very interesting. Some of the pics aren't working for the products. Does the plain image, no logo, mean that the product is not monogrammed?
Range bags and other stuff, very good!
M1911.org stocks. I might have to get a pair of those.

Those pictures were coming directly from their manufacturer's site. So most probably they've changed them. But if you are interested, contact Idette and she can send you the pictures of the item you like. Basically, she can embroyder almost anything. And she is a great lady.

Ordered four patches and within a week they were delivered through Air Mail. Quick service!
They look nice, the embroidery is perfectly executed. The different angles of stitching of the frame and the slide give a lively effect with the light.
All in all well worth the money!
Oh and uuhhmmm... did I hear someone mention stickers???

So many people disdain military service.....I wonder if they have even thought for a minute what we owe our serviceman and women? Especially those useless snots in the 60's.

Dave,
I reside in a place that truly loves the Marine Corps and thanks us everyday for our service. The new Marine Corps Museum opened up here in Quantico Virginia and I had the privilege of going to the Opening Ceremony. People were actually coming up to me and HUGGING me and thanking me for my service to this country. I simple replied that it was my honor to do so.

Amalia was an aunt of my first wife. I've spend some days in Quantico, back in 1982-1983. Nice place!

John,
Well you probably wouldn't recognize the area today. We've grown quite a bit over the past several years. Since we are only 45 minutes from Washington DC, a lot of affordable homes have gone up around here. If you ever visit again, you have to make a point to see the new Marine Corps Museum. The weapons alone will blow you away. It quite a treat.

I bet you. That area was lovely so development is expected.
I had visited the old Museum, and it was very nice. I also remember a large army store in the main street, I've bought a jacket from there and some BDUs I wanted.
I remember in February 1983, I was driving to Quantico from NJ, in the middle of a snow storm, which was swapping the whole East Cost, south to north. It took me 14 hours for the distance. But I remember who astonished I was to see that the only exist which was totally cleared from the snow, south of Baltimore, was the one going into Quantico. The good marines had licked it clean!
Thanks for bringing back those memories.
If you want to order those patches and stickers, please PM or email me.
