What can you tell me about fitting a BCP hard use trigger?
Any help would be appreciated.

John, BCP is Burns Custom Pistols, right here in Issaquah.
His site. (http://www.burnscustom.com/)
He also has a board, pistolsmith.com, which is where I first ran into Johnny, way back when Johnny only knew two cords, and wasn't hooked on steroids. :D

IIRC, the hard use trigger has the overtravel adjustment built into the trigger via a tab on the back of the trigger, hence the lack of overtravel screw. The trigger is fit as normal with the excetion of the tab needing to be filed down until the desired overtravel is attained.
The "hard use" name is given as a result of the absense of the overtravel screw (that has the potential to become loose and lock up the trigger).

It is amazing what you can find on the web... pulled this from pistolsmith.com. Shows the fitting of the BCP hard use trigger. Take a look...

Good article, I like the way it instructs on fitting the trigger.
Just for heck of it, I thought I'd mention that I bought one of those, and really like it. fit and finish were excellent. Had to take a hair of the bottom, but that was it. I just wanted a simple, no pretty holes, no screws trigger.
I tried a Dlask previous. That to replace a GI trigger. Dlask was pain to fit. Oversize EVERYWHERE. The "BCP Harduse" is sweet. I reccomend it.
