S70 vs S80 triggers

I'd like to do a trigger job on a series 80 colt
I'm curious as to whether it's ok to use a kit with a series 70 trigger
I haven't found anyone offering the 80s

The triggers are the same.......for both 70 & 80's

I wasn't sure if the 1/2 cock notch could create some unforscene problem
thought the 80s went w/out the hook to make it more of a ledge.

They do. But that's the hammer, not the trigger.

So my question is can I use the series 70 HAMMER in a s80 colt?
