I picked this up about a month or so ago and I could not be happier with the gun or the service from EGW.

Here are the key features:

STI 2011 frame
Caspian 5" Slide
Kart barrel in .40 S&W (cut flush with bushing)
EGW melt bushing
Brown ambi safety
EGW fiber optic front sight
Bomar rear sight
Two piece guide rod
All internal parts from EGW
Glock serrations on rear of slide
Ball end mill cuts on front of slide matched to front of dustcover
ball end mill cuts on top of slide
French border above slide flats (carried onto bushing)
Flat top and serration of slide and bushing
Uniform matte finish across all parts
EGW melt package
3lb. action job

Although my preference lies with single stack pistols, this is indeed a very nice custom job. Congratulations to you and to EGW for making it. Perfect execution, I would say.

The EGW web site link that is posted above is incorrect.

It should be egw-guns.com not egw.com

That should be their E-treat treatment.

The finish is actually just standard blueing over a matte surface. My intentions are to shoot the gun for a little while to break it in and then decide on a final finish. At this point I am probably going to go with their E-Treat.

No, that's an STI 2011 frame, which makes it a hi-cap, double stack pistol.

Some say that this gun is nice...I'd say that it's G O R G E O U S :eek: !!!!!
If I were in your shoes I'd leave the flat finish!

You know, until I saw your gun, I HATED the 2011 frame, thought it looked too plasticky for me.
You have changed my mind completely, that pistol is nothing short of AWESOME.
Congratulations !!!!!
