So I VERY recently began posting on this board. Happened upon it doing Google searches on 1911s after shooting a buddy's gun.

I read, religiously, through most of the forums here, weighing pros and cons of various 1911s. Decided I was interested in a Nighthawk GRP Recon so I dropped them an e-mail. I asked the basics, such as timeframe for delivery, etc.

Sure enough, they had the one I wanted, in stock, with a bonus of the Diamond Black finish. One quick call later, with my FFL's fax on the way shortly, and I'm a NightHawk customer.

It could be here as soon as this weekend. If I can get my camera rig located (we just moved), I'll post photos.
