Holster

I have 2 1911s the new smith and a blue gold cup. I have a nice holster for the smith, but who makes a holster that will not take the bluing off the colt??

Short answer, nobody. Better fitting holsters might slow the wear but that is the best you could hope for. Carrying is hard on a weapon, holster wear will be the least that will happen, given enough time. You might check in the "holster" section and ask Tony from Milt Sparks, great holsters BTW.

I had my leather guy put a suede leather lining in the holster he made for my Model 19. I had it reblued some time back, and wanted to limit wear. So far, it has done just fine.
