Disassembly and reassembly?

Is there a link on here to guide someone through complete disassembly of a 1911? I read someones post on here about a thread on the subject on the home page, but I didn't locate it.

Go down the main page a ways and look in the techinical issues section. There is a bunch of iinfo there, including disassembly.

By "main page," he doesn't mean the forum index page. Go to the home page of www.m1911.org then click the option for "The M-1911 Pistols Home Page"

From there, you'll see a menu on the left side of the screen. One of the first choices will be "Disassembly"

My mistake. I was thinking the disassembly info was in the "Techanical Issues" section. Sorry :(
