XS Big Dot 24/7 on the way

I just ordered a set of XS Sights Big Dot 24/7 tritium express sights for my Springfield Loaded. I have been using the factory tritium Novak's for about a year in IDPA. I just bought a Glock 19 9mm last month on on my first IDPA shoot with it I outshot my 1911. (first time I ever shot a Glock)

I realized that I was wasting precious time picking up the Novak sights while the sights on my Glock are much higher visibility.

So, I ordered the XS Big Dots for my 1911.

If anyone has installed them on their Springfield Loaded please let me know if you were able to do it yourself and, if so, what tools were involved. I would like to avoid paying a gunsmith to scratch my slide when I can do that myself.

I will also take this as an opportunity to Gun-Kote my parkerized slide (already did the frame)

I have the xs sights on my cz pcr,they're great for a fast sight picture.
