I'm looking for a pair of rubber checkered grips with thumb swell that are non-wrap around and have a flush cut on the bottom to butt up against a mag chute. I have a Les Baer 1911 government size. I have seen Pachmyr grips with the wrap around - not what I need, or Kimber makes a pair of grip panels but the cut on the bottom of the grip is not flush with the magwell and it has cutouts for the backstrap pins (which I would prefer not to have). I know, I know - I'm being picky but after spending $2500 for my new Baer and getting the action done, magchute and... it seems stupid not to get the grips that are going to be comfortable and finish off the gun. If anyone can point me in the right direction re: finding the elusive grips I would be very appreciative.
