hammer does not lock back

I just bought my first 1911 (para p13) off a co-worker, and though I'm not new to firearms, I'm a newbie when it comes to the 1911. So granted the first thing I did was completely strip the entire gun. All parts seemed to go back together how I thought they should go, but upon function testing, I found that the hammer will not lock back. I have disassembled and reassembled several times since with the same outcome. I would assume my problem is related to the sear but I can not figure out exactly. If anyone can help please.... thanks

Probably the most common mistake in reassembly. The left leg of the sear spring is under the left sear foot instead of on top.
