I bought my Colt XSE model about a month ago and want to have tritium tubes installed in the original sights that came on the pistol. Does anyone know where I can find the tritium tubes?
Here is a picture of my pistol and the sights I wish to have the tubes put in.

Tritium vials can be installed in those sites, at least they can be in the rear one. I can't judge the width of the front one, to be sure.

John, I measured the width of my front sight and it measures .120". Here is a picture of the front sight. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f382/prsalazar/Picture384.jpg

I think your sight is OK for the vials, but I sincerely doubt if you can buy just the vials somewhere. You see, tritium is a radioactive material, so there are special licenses required to handle it. Why don't you just replace your sights with tritium ones, or just send these over to the companies which sell tritium sights, to have the vials installed?

John, I just spoke to a pistolsmith this morning and he confirmed that I just can't purchase the tubes. He stated that there are several companies that I can send my slide to and have them installed, I think I'll do that.
