Have you tried Brownells? I think I remember seeing a couple of short triggers in their catalog.

I like the standard COLT or standard USGI metal trigers. I've seen them come smooth, serrated and checkered. I'm not a target shooter, so any standard metal trigger works for me.

I've got a stock Colt short trigger if you want it. PM me for details.

I've gotten my short triggers from Brownells for some years, but for some reason they don't show any on their website right now. Midway shows a short trigger (stock number 717974) they say is from Cylinder and Slide. It looks like the ones I've used on the past and that are on all my 1911s. I've also gotten some from Kings Gun Works in L. A.

STI makes a carbon fiber one (black) that has an over travel adjustment screw. Midway lists it last time I looked.
Numrich had or has a nickel plated Colt short trigger listed in their catalog. Mine's a few years old so you may need to check with them.
