Going to the range:
Gun? Check
Ammo? Check
Chronograph (to check ammo)? Check
Pact Timer? Check
Shooting record book and pencil? check
Hearing Protection? Check
Eye protection? Check
Staple gun and staples? check
Went to range. Set up targets I bought there. Put on hearing and eye protection. Adjusted glasses on nose. Open gun case and made firearm safe. Grabbed five rounds to put in magazine.... to put in magazine..... magazine....
(Darn, I forgot to check magazines).
Brain fade or something I have to worry about?:o

That's why my babies always have a mag inserted. In that way, even if I forget the rest, I'll have at least one to play with. On the other hand, and since my wife always says I have Alchaymer (is that spell that way? I need to find a spell checker for this forums site), I always have 4-5 mags per gun, in my tools box (that's what I use for a range bag).

This is a common happening, DRS, Barain fade Oltimers disease, all the same.
John I use the same type range setup as you, a airly large toolbox. Always has ammo, mags and some tools in it. Carry gut usually rices on my hip so I always have at least on emag with me for sure and it's carried cocked and locked so I always have one gun to shoot.

You either have CRS or CRAFT, can't tell from here.
CRS = Can't Remember Sh**
CRAFT = Can't Remember A Flipping Thing.
Did get up to a shooting match once and fould I left the key to my pistol box at home. Good thing to have friends with files, removed the flanges on the ends of the lasp rivits and got in the box that way.

I also have what I call my "range box" which is a medium sized tool box with a removable top tray in which I always carry ammo, mags, cleaning supplies, tool, targets, etc. I didn't always do this, and wound up shooting somewhere with inadequate supplies. Then, when I got into black powder shooting, it became necesarry to carry all kinds of stuff with me when I went to shoot. So I made up my range box, and now it's just natural to take it with me anytime I might get a chance to shoot.
