Colt Replacement parts in a Springer

What are your thoughts and opinions of using Colt OEM 1911 parts in Springfields? The reason I ask is that many of Colt's parts are forged and many of Springfields are MIM.
I am looking at replacing the safeties on a Mil-Spec and on a Loaded Models because of fit and the safeties on a new Colt Government Model very good in my hand.
Any foreseeable problems using Colt OEM parts for the safeties?

Nope don't see any problems..........just make sure the thumb safeties are fitted to the sear lugs properly for safe operation.
