Anyone have any experience with Wolf range bags? They are relatively inexpensive but look pretty good in person. Or is this a "you get what you pay for" deal? I think I like the larger bag--looks like it would hold my Colts pretty well!

I don't have any experience with these bags, but they sure look good in the pictures.

I bought the Wolf small range bag for Sportsmans Guide and couldn't be happier. It has two large side pockets with a removable velcro enclosed padded handgun case on each side and magazine pockets. The large center compartment comes with three velcro dividers, one for longways and two for sideways depending on how you want to split up your space. The build quality appears dependable with no problems to date.

Just an update--took my new small size Wolf bag to the range last week. Worked great! I carried three pistols (and could have put in more), eight boxes of ammo (and could have easily put in another six), plus my hearing protection and glasses. And, it was all in a compact easy to carry size. Not bad for $25 so I'm very happy with it. If the fabric were just a tiny thicker, I would have absolutely no complaints--guess that helps keep the weight down. Stitching is excellent. Time will tell how it holds up, but for the amount of use I'll be giving it and the low cost, I suspect I'll be extremely pleased .

My Wolf range bag is great. Can't go wrong for the price.

My Wolf range bag is great. Can't go wrong for the price. For sure. I've looked at bags for twice the price that weren't nearly as good. Mine is holding up very well with light to moderate use. And it's pretty versatile--the gunshop owner I got mine from was using one as a baby bag after his daughter was born!

I'll just pile on here. My big Wolf bag has become my go-to-the-range bag when taking anything other than just an auto and a few boxes of ammo. While my other smaller (and more famous and more expensive) bag works like a charm, the big wolf can carry 4 handguns easily - 6 if you pack them carefully and 12 or 14 boxes of ammo.

That gets to be pretty darned heavy and it has held up great. I am only sorry I didn't find them a long time ago.
