Any ideas on the value of this? I had an Ed Brown Memory Groove Beavertail and Heine Sights milled into the slide. Also had the slide to frame tightened and had a new trigger and trigger job done on it. I appreciate all responses.

In my area, the gun would sell for $550-$650. The labor to customize it would be around $250. So I would say that you would have to pay somewhere around $900 plus parts for the gun if you had the work done.
Personally, I am not willing to pay up for a customized gun that I do not know the history of and know who did the work. If it was sitting on the used shelf at a local shop, I expect it would retail for $650-$750.
Just my thoughts.......

I appreciate the response. Most of the work was done by Gunsmith Steve Nastoff.
A very, very talented man. If I could only find that receipt. My wife had him install the Heine sights. That was the last mod he did.

It is interesting to me that you needed to have the slide to frame fit tightened. I have several Colt Enhanced pistols and the slide to frame fit is nice and tight on all of them. I was beginning to think that was something Colt did on all the Enhanced guns, but maybe not, maybe I just got lucky (not something that usually happens). Has anyone else noticed the Enhanced Series 80 guns being tighter than what we have been accustomed to seeing? I guess I should post this under it's own thread.

It was very sloppy. That was the initial reason I sent it off. I have had other Enhanced Models that were fitted really well and some that were not. Probably a "luck of the draw" type situation.
But this one is amazing "now" very tight all around, super smooth and great lockup.
