I just ordered an all black Talon with alumagrips and was wondering if anybody has one. If you do please post pics. The wait is killing me! I need something to hold me over. PLEASE HELP!

A assume that you mean a 5 inch Talon. Do you want with front serrations or without? Do you care what grips it has? While I do not yet own all of the variations I do have a nice stash of pictures to drool over. Let me know and I'll post something.

Post them all Sir, then we can do a group-buy for keyboards and be done with it.

Semper,

I hear you...in late Feb I ordered the same Talon all black with black Alumagrips! I just completed the third week of the 6-8 week wait. Is that what they qouted you in terms of wait?

I got my Talon IV about a month ago without any finish on there. It's now just bare carbon steel. Just sent out to Precision Gunworks to get some work done.
• Machine outside and rear bevels on S&A mag well
• High grip front strap machining
• Machine ball cuts on front of slide
• Machine bevel on lower edge of slide
• Machine french border at top of slide flats
• Install Briley Reverse Plug (full shoulder one)
• Polish feed ramp
• Install a different slide stop
• Adjust trigger pull
• EGW's new black scratch resistant finish (probably the same diamond black finish NHC calls it) on frame and other hardware
• Master Polish BLUE on slide

It has Novak adjustable night sights from NHC. Will put my new set of Nutmeg Ivory flat bottom grips on it. Also had NHC put the S&A magwell on it, thought it looks a lot better than the traditional ones that NHC has. Oh..also going to bevel the slide stop hole a bit more.

Here's how it looks like now...wife didn't care much about the machine cut on the front of the slide, but I convinced her that it would look a lot better. :D

NHC did a good job leaving the gun the way it is without any finish, and they went the extra miles to polish up the slide, grip safety, and the magwell.
