It's really h#!! getting old! In the last 3 days to 1 week I saw a ORM 1991 SS GM that had some nice custom stuff done to it and then was Hard-Chromed. It had to be here or at 1911forum.com or LTW as they are the only other sites I view. I'd like to look at again but I just can't find it. Has anyone else seen a gun that fits that description?

Is this the one you're looking for?

Mike: Yes I believe that is the gun! thanks for responding, glad I wasn't halucinating. RickyT on the other forum replied that it was a John Harrison gun that was offered for sale, is that where you saw it? It had occurred to me that maybe I saw it in the for sale section at LTW. It looked very nice as John's work always does. It had never occurred to me to have a SS gun hard-chromed, first I ever saw that done, maybe I saw it and didn't realize it. Probably a good idea, SS is less likely to corrode but still wears. The hard-chrome would help preserve the fit and look very good too.
