Does anyone know if the grips off Kimber's Warrior/Desert Warrior available as an aftermarket item?
Reading various reviews of the pistols I know they are made from a material called "G-10"... I've looked at a BUNCH of aftermarket suppliers - including those who sponsor this board - and can't find the pattern Kimber is using.

Thanks in advance

AlbertoVO5,

At one time, the Kimber On-Line Store offered the Warrior/Desert Warrior grips for sale. I just checked their web site, and didn't see that they were available at this time. You might try giving the Kimber Custom Shop a call to see if they still have those for sale.

In addition, Simonich Custom offers G-10 grips that are very similar to the ones that you're interested in. They can be contacted by visiting their web site at
www.simonichknives.com click on "Gunner".

Good luck in your search, and sorry that I could not be of more help.

These grips show up from time to time on eBay, but are still half to three-quarters what you would pay for new. You can get the Gunner grips from the Simonich web site, about $65 I believe.
Let me know how they work for you!
