I RECENTLY PURCHED A KIMBER SUPER MATCH II. ANY ONE WHO HAS ONE DO YOU LIKE THE WAY IT HANDLE RECOIL AND WHY WAS A HIGH END HANDGUN LIK THIS DID NOT COME WITH NIGHT SIGHTS. WHAT OTHER IMPROVEMENT ARE POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO COMPETE IN STEEL MATCH . :rolleyes:

Hey John, easy on the capital letters, no need to shout. Night sights are not to everyone's liking and not everyone really needs them. I had them on one pistol and hated them. I just purchased a lightly used series I Gold Match. I have only put 50 rounds through it, but I already love it. I do have other 1911's and I find they handle the recoil of the 45 ACP just fine.

the super match II should be ready to shoot any competition you want to get in, i love mine, but it is to nice to beat up in competition. i'll shoot one of my cheaper pistols in idpa, my super match probably won't even see a holster. just my $.02's worth.
