Gold Cup Modifications(?)

I would appreciate hearing any and all personal experience regarding modifications to Series 70 Gold Cups. Ever see one with fixed sights/beavertail grip safety/ext. manual safety...?

When you say "manual safety" are you refering to the thumb safety? I have an extended Wilson on mine, but it is not in the picture.... It is a little hard to put fixed sights on them because of the odd cut in the back of the slide for the Eliason's... I have a Wilson drop in beavertail in mine and it works great... The stock spur hammer wil not work with a beavertail, so you will have to either use a Commander style hammer, or do what I did, and modify (bob) the stock hammer... Also added a wilson magwell and King's aluminum trigger. Soon I will be putting in a Scheuman Bull barrel.... Clickthe picture of the camera in the upper right of my post to see it...
