Kimber Eclipse or Colt Gold Cup?

Please give opinions between Kimber Eclipse Target (EE) vs. Colt Gold Cup Trophy (or others) for home defense/range gun. Not to be carried. Thanks

Gold Cup will hold it's value. Stright forward design, easy to fix, 80 series has firing pin block, 70 series does not. Kimber- great out of the box if it doesn't hiccup, stupid Swartz safety design, probably very close in accuracy to the Colt.

Yall know my thoughts but I will share them anyway, Colt Gold Cup Trophy! Really for all the reasons OneJaggedHole listed and a few personal ones.

Thanks. I read different things about Colt selling or not and how long they will be around and am not sure if I should let it effect my purchase.

there both fine guns I prefer the gold cup because mine has been so reliable and accurate but theres nothing wrong with a kimbe elispe either.
