Every springfield I have ever shot was like butter

im pretty sure the your right on the TRP

on your mag well are you going mainspring housing as well? if so i would go with ed brown beacuse if you want you can remove the magwell. if not, wilson all the way.

The only other diff. is the TRP has a one piece barrel.

I've had a few TRP's apart, and the sad thing is they have the same small parts as the Loaded, but you pay 500+ more for them. The Loaded is the best value for features and cost.

Mag wells...........S&A makes a good one, but the Wilson & Brown work just as well. The only problem with the S&A wells, is that the housing pin hole doesn't always line up with the frame hole.

You made mention about night sights.........I thought all Loadeds had night sights? Maybe its an older one..............?

On the sights even springfield web sights list only as low mount novaks no night's.. One piece barrel i take it to mean the feed ramp is part of the barrel ? or is there something else

The Loadeds, Mil-Specs, and G.I. models have actual two piece barrels.

At the forward part of the roll mark on the chamber you can see a slight line going around it where the two pieces are joined up. Colt used to make them during the war. They are not a bad barrel, mine shoots fantastic, I guess just a bit cheaper way to make them.

The low mount Novaks should be nights...........every one I've seen so far has them.

Well these novaks low mounts wernt i checked um out when i put on hold

Also might as well ask which mags are the best?

Which mags are best? That's opening up a whole can of worms there.

I personally use Wilson 47D 8 rounders, and I use them on duty. I also installed Wilson followers & springs in all my SA mags to make them 8 rounders. They work real well.........

I've also tried CMC Power mags, they seem to work well too. From my own experience these are the only ones I can endorse.

Whatever you decide, put alot of rounds thru them before using for duty/personal defense........to ensure they will work when the scat contacts the bladed oscillator!

You're going to get a whole lot of ideas on this one. So brace yourself.......
