I just picked up a GI gov't model and Springfield includes a list of accessories that can be purchased at a reduced price within 90 days. They have a leather holster listed for about $35 (normally $55). The picture on their website is very small:

It looks like it might be a pretty decent pancake-style holster for $35. Anybody tried one? Any feedback? Someone else has to make it for them, anyone know who it is? Looks like something Dillon might make maybe?

Out of curiosity, where in WY are you?

The holster looks good, I may order one myself.

What a small world. I too am in Cheyenne. Where did you pick the gun up at? I work on occasion over at Sportmans Outlet on Lincolnway.

Hate to say it, but the prices at Sportsman's Outlet were too high - $499. I picked one up in Casper this past weekend for $429 and saved 1% on sales tax, too.

Why did the prices on all of the pistols at Sportsman's Outlet shoot up so high? I have bought a lot of guns there in the past, but not any more.

His prices are absolutely rediculous on allot of the guns. Not sure why they are marked so high. I usually shop at Sportsmans Warehouse in Loveland CO. Sportsmans Warehouse has the GI Mil-Spec for $389 which is just above my cost.

Wyoguy. I am also interested in the leather Springfield holster listed on the Loaded sheet. No one has given any reviews yet, but maybe we'll hear something soon. It may be a good inexpensive holster to carry around in the woods and carry on the tractor or ATV.

It actually looks like a quality leather holster. It normally sells for $55. I called Springfield and they told me that it is made by International Handgun Leather.

I searched for a website, but came up with nothing. Found a couple web addresses for them, but they wouldn't load.

Anyone have any experience with International Handgun Leather? For $34, I just might be the guinea pig for everyone. If it's a good holster, it's a steal. If not, the $34 would pay half of a quality holster. This is my dilemma...
