AO race gun to carry conversion?

i've found a used AO that someone made into a race gun style - looks pretty decent. my question is can i easily convert it to a standard slide/barrel? if so, can i use a generic slide (from another manuf?) or will i need specifically AO components?

It depends on if there are mods made on the frame. You should be able to install a different slide/barrel combo and be done with it, but it depends on what was done to the gun.
