My Norinco 1911A1 has a S/N 0f 4002xx and I am trying to place a date of production on it.
I notice in a thread below there is a 4023xx S/N, and many others before and after those numbers.
I have searched this forum completely, but have been unable to find this info. Someone once said Jim V would be along to answer this question, but he never did. :confused:
I think mine is at least as old as 1993 (or older) from the dates persons on this board have mentioned buying theirs new and also giving the serial number.
Can anyone shine some light on production dates? (I am interested as a gun collector) :)
