I was just curious how you guys hang your slide, frame and parts when refinishing with a spray on. Where in the slide do you attach the wire?

I'm curious as I'm wanting to refinish my parked pistol with moly resin. I'm concerned about the spots where the wire will contact the part.

For the slide, I would run the wire through the firing pin hole, and then back through the extractor hole....For the frame, run the wire through the grip screw bushing holes.... :D

That makes a lot of sense, yet so simple :)

I was always wrestling with the parts as I tried to get them to hang just right in the park solution. I should get a narrower, taller pot so that I don't have to change my solution measurements :o

Anyhow, for the spray on, hopefully I can get a garage oven so I don't have to get the house all fumed up.

Good idea... I got in a whole bunch of trouble for curing my powdercoating in the kitchen..... :nono:
