Well, I got a new 1911sc the stainless one. Now Iwant some grips. Problem is I don't know which ones. I do know I want either VZ grips or Davidsons, but not sure which style or color. So i am taking advice, which would you get? Remeber that it is the stainless gun. If any of you have pics of your choices, post em or email me with them. I am open to suggestions.Thanks David

Seriously, it would be easier to offer suggestions if we could see where you're starting. Besides, we just like seeing guns!

Well, those Black Cristobal grips in the WoodGrips banner at the top of this page would look pretty sweet on her...I guess I'm inclined toward black grips on a stainless gun like that. Lots of nice offerings at VZ Grips with their micarata line, too.

Of course, there's no reason you have to stop with one set of grips...different grips for different "moods", I say!

I ordered "12 Bar Warthog Black G10" grips from Davidson last week. Delivery in 7 to 10 days. These will go on my SS GI45. I'll post a picture after they arrive.

It will have to be your choice, but I am looking at VZ for the gun I am building. Mine will be the "VZ Operator's" in black.

I used the VZ grips on my stainless Colt. Here is a pic green & black linen micarta. Smooth feel can be worn concealed without needing a shirt between the gun and your skin. However even though they are smooth they still have a pretty good bit of grip on them.
