I am a new member here and have learned a lot and have enjoyed the many posts on the ol war horses , Some time ago I was given a G+K holster but I am not sure if it is a WWI or WWII , I have yet to dig it out of storage but will get it out this weekend , how do you tell for sure it is a WWI holster or is the 44 that is stamped under the makers name a no brain'er ? ..lol
I would like to get a WWI holster to go with my 1914 Springfield Armory 1911 not one of my best deal buys , I am willing to bet I over paid for something that only by good luck is all there but not the grade I was told :butthead: ,,,but then again I like it so thats what counts . :D ..
Thank You All ..

G. & K. (Graton & Knight) with the 44 (1944) is a WW II holster. they also manufactured holsters for WW I, a couple WW I holsters made by G &K I have observed were marked: G&K 1918 W.J.D. and G. & K. 1917 F.I.C.
