TLE II vs. TRP vs. ???

Ok here's the thing I'm still thinking about getting a SA Mil spec and making it into the gun I want. However in March one fo the Gun Stores in the area has a big factory show and sale, where some manufacturers come out and they raffle guns and have great deals, I got my Kimber Gold Match Series I at it 6 years ago for $1019 out the door, so if I can get a "tactical" 1911 for cheap what ones should I look at? I like the Kimber TLE II and have held it and it has pretty much everything I want, but is there a similar gun that is better or cheaper? Any info will be helpful or info from people that own them, I am looking for a blued/black/etc. version and no integral light rail.

I've got a TLE II and love it. I've put 500 rounds through so far without a single hiccup. It'll definitley outshoot me, and it fits like it was tailored to my hand. I found an older one with an internal extractor. The finish is pretty good, I've seen some very minor wear here and there, but nothing that I'm worried about. Hope this helps!
