The Kimber 17 and 22 kits are lots of fun too. Cheap and accurate to boot.

Thats cool ! I've been thinking about getting a kimber 22 kit myself and putting it on a old colt frame i have.
Just last night as a matter of fact the range officer at our club put a new kimber 1911 center fire in a ransom rest and the results were impressive, all the shots in a nice little 1/4 in hole...very accurate and consistent
